This Privacy Policy explains how The Procrastination Pro (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information through our educational resources and related services, including Unit Hack, CARS: Uncomplicated, the CARS Pattern Check, free previews, checkout pages, course access, Practice Lab, emails, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. This policy does not replace any consent required by applicable law.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we control in connection with the Services, including information submitted through Unit Hack and CARS: Uncomplicated pages and forms. It does not govern a third party's independent processing under its own privacy policy, including processing by Systeme.io, Stripe, your bank, or another payment method provider.

2. Information We Collect

The information collected depends on how you use the Services.

Information you provide

We may collect:

  • Contact information: name, email address, and any contact details you choose to provide.
  • Account information: course-account identifier, login-related records, enrollment status, access status, and account preferences.
  • Purchase information: product purchased, amount, currency, transaction date, payment status, refunds, chargebacks, and limited payment details supplied by the payment processor, such as card brand and last four digits. We do not intend to receive or store your full payment-card number.
  • Communications: support requests, emails, feedback, and information you include in messages to us.
  • Marketing preferences: subscription status, consent records where applicable, and unsubscribe requests.

Please do not send health information, government identification numbers, full payment-card information, or other sensitive personal information through ordinary email or support messages unless we specifically request it through an appropriate method.

Information collected automatically

We and our service providers may collect:

  • IP address;
  • browser type, device type, operating system, and language;
  • referring page and pages visited;
  • date, time, duration, clicks, and general course-use events;
  • cookie identifiers and similar technology data;
  • approximate location derived from IP address; and
  • security, fraud-prevention, and diagnostic information.

Payment information

Payments are handled by Stripe or another payment method provider displayed at checkout. The processor may collect name, email address, billing information, payment credentials, device information, transaction information, and fraud-prevention data. A payment processor may collect information entered into checkout even if the transaction is not completed, as described in its own privacy policy.

We receive the information needed to confirm and administer the transaction. We do not control a payment provider's independent use of personal information.

3. Practice Lab Progress Stored in Your Browser

Practice Lab attempts, misses, self-tags, and current progress are designed to be stored locally in the current browser or device. This progress is not represented as account-synced.

Switching browsers or devices, using private browsing, blocking local storage, or clearing cookies or site data may start progress over. People using the same browser profile may be able to view or affect locally stored work.

The local Practice Lab application does not intentionally transmit the substance of this locally stored progress to us. Systeme.io or other infrastructure providers may separately receive ordinary page, device, security, and usage data when a Practice Lab page is loaded or used.

4. How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information to:

  • provide Unit Hack, CARS: Uncomplicated, the CARS Pattern Check, free previews, checkout pages, course access, and Practice Lab;
  • create and maintain course access;
  • process and document purchases, refunds, taxes, and disputes;
  • authenticate users and protect accounts;
  • send purchase, access, security, support, and administrative messages;
  • deliver requested free resources and, where permitted, related educational or marketing emails;
  • respond to questions and provide support;
  • maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the Services;
  • measure general use and performance;
  • prevent fraud, abuse, unlawful activity, and Terms violations;
  • comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations; and
  • establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Where a law requires a legal basis for processing, we rely as applicable on:

  • performance of a contract or steps requested before entering a contract;
  • compliance with legal obligations;
  • our legitimate interests in operating, securing, supporting, and improving the Services, where those interests are not overridden by your rights;
  • protection of legal rights; and
  • consent, when consent is required.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Systeme.io and other providers may use cookies, local storage, pixels, or similar technologies to operate pages, maintain sessions, remember settings, measure use, prevent fraud, and support payment processing.

These technologies may include:

  • Strictly necessary technologies used for login, checkout, security, fraud prevention, and core functions.
  • Preference technologies used to remember choices and settings.
  • Analytics technologies used to understand traffic and general use.
  • Local storage used by the Practice Lab to preserve browser-local progress.

You may control cookies through your browser and any consent controls displayed on the site. Blocking necessary cookies or local storage may prevent login, checkout, course access, or Practice Lab persistence from working correctly.

We do not currently add our own advertising pixels to the Services or sell personal information for money. Systeme.io, Stripe, and other independent providers may use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies.

6. When We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose personal information to:

  • Systeme.io, which hosts the website, funnel, checkout interface, course, accounts, and email functions;
  • Stripe and other payment participants, including banks, card networks, fraud-prevention providers, and any payment method provider you select;
  • Operational service providers, such as hosting, email, security, analytics, customer-support, and technical vendors;
  • Professional advisers, such as accountants, attorneys, insurers, and tax professionals, when reasonably necessary;
  • Authorities or other parties for legal and safety reasons, when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, users, systems, or the public; and
  • A successor in a business transaction, such as a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer of all or part of the business, subject to applicable law.

We may also disclose information at your direction or with your consent.

Service providers may process personal information only for the services they provide to us, subject to their agreements and applicable law. Some providers also process information independently under their own privacy policies.

7. Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or use personal information for targeted advertising as those terms are defined by applicable U.S. state privacy laws.

We will update this Privacy Policy and provide any required opt-out method before beginning a practice that requires such notice or choice.

We honor legally required browser-based opt-out preference signals when they apply to our processing. Because we do not currently engage in covered sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, such a signal does not presently change those activities.

8. Retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing course access, maintaining transaction and tax records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, meeting legal duties, and protecting security.

Retention periods depend on the type of information and legal or operational need. For example:

  • account and enrollment records may be kept while access remains active and for a reasonable period afterward;
  • transaction, tax, refund, and dispute records may be kept for the period required by financial, tax, and legal obligations;
  • support communications may be kept while needed to resolve the request and document the resolution;
  • marketing information may be kept until you unsubscribe or we no longer need it, with limited suppression records retained to honor an opt-out; and
  • browser-local Practice Lab data remains on the applicable browser profile until the browser, learner, or device removes it.

We may retain information longer when required by law, necessary for an active dispute, or needed to prevent fraud or abuse. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the information and the size of the Services. We also rely on service providers to protect information processed through their systems.

No online service, transmission method, or storage system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for using a unique password, protecting your credentials, and controlling access to your browser profile and devices.

If we identify a breach requiring notice, we will provide notice as required by applicable law.

10. International Processing

We and our service providers may process information in the United States, the European Economic Area, and other countries where providers or infrastructure operate. Those countries may have data-protection laws different from the laws where you live.

Where required, we use lawful transfer mechanisms or rely on service-provider safeguards for international transfers. Systeme.io states that its servers are hosted through Amazon Web Services in Ireland. Provider locations and practices may change; consult each provider's current privacy policy for its processing details.

11. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have the right to:

  • request access to personal information we hold about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate information;
  • request deletion of personal information;
  • request a portable copy of certain information;
  • restrict or object to certain processing;
  • withdraw consent for future processing where processing is based on consent;
  • opt out of certain sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling activities;
  • appeal the denial of a privacy request where applicable; and
  • receive equal service and pricing without unlawful discrimination for exercising a privacy right.

These rights are subject to legal exceptions. For example, we may retain information required for transactions, taxes, fraud prevention, security, legal claims, or compliance.

To submit a request, email hello@theprocrastinationpro.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” Describe the request and identify the email address connected to your account or purchase. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and authority. We will use verification information only to process the request.

An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law. We may require proof of authorization and direct identity verification. If a right to appeal applies, reply to our decision with the subject line “Privacy Appeal.”

Residents of the European Economic Area or United Kingdom may also have the right to complain to their local data-protection authority.

12. Marketing Communications

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the message or emailing hello@theprocrastinationpro.com. We may retain a limited suppression record to honor your request.

Even after you unsubscribe from marketing, we may send non-promotional messages needed to administer a purchase, account, security issue, support request, or material policy change.

13. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from a child under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact hello@theprocrastinationpro.com so we can investigate and delete it as required.

Users under the age of legal majority where they live must have authorization from a parent or legal guardian to purchase or use the Services.

14. External Links and Third-Party Policies

The Services may link to third-party websites or use third-party tools. We do not control third-party privacy practices.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, providers, or the Services. The updated policy will state a new effective date. If a change materially affects how we use personal information, we will provide additional notice when required by law.
